Lancaster County Experience Available July and August Visit the Plain and Fancy Amish Farm Homestead, the FX Theater and enjoy the Farmland Tour. The movie "Jacob's Choice", is an emotional story of an Amish family and the Amish culture over the centuries. Inside the Homestead, learn traditions and practices of the Amish, learn about a culture so different from our own. Join a certified guide on a tour to the out of the way back roads, witness the patchwork farmland, roadside stands and perhaps a visit to a craft shop on an Amish Farm. Enjoy a Pennsylvania Dutch Dinner aboard the Strasburg Railroad which boards at 6:30PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and a relaxing evening and dinner at Bube's Brewery in Mount Joy.

Bridges to the Past Available
May through October Enjoy a Covered Bridge Tour, visit the shortest and longest, oldest and newest, highest, widest and narrowest bridges in Lancaster County. Make a stop or two at a a local Amish roadside stand. Your bridge tour is scheduled for 10AM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. Upon your return, a guided Amish House Tour is included and self guided farm tour. Enjoy the 15 acre farm, see the animals and out buildings common to a local Amish Farm, visit with the local on site artisans and don't forget to visit the one room Amish Schoolhouse. A family style dinner at Goon 'n Plenty Restaurant will complete your package. Your reservation will start on an evening prior to your tour. $140 per couple plus 2 nights lodging |
